Yes we do, we are based in Lincoln but we have expanded into many other areas across the UK. We now cover the East, South and South West of England as well as the whole of the midlands.

We have 3 different showrooms that are in Lincoln, Kent and Somerset.

We have 3 showrooms based in Lincoln, where the company was founded, Kent and Somerset. If you visit one of our three showrooms, you can speak with one of our trained and experienced bathing mobility experts about the best options for you. We also have highly trained surveyors who can come to your home and provide you with a free consultation.

Any bathroom can be made more functional by modifying it. The quickest and easiest solution is to instal a new shower, either in place of your current shower or in place of your bath.

Our expert surveyors apply their extensive product knowledge to create a solution that meets your requirements, style, and budget. It could be a walk-in shower, a walk-in tub, or a wet room with amenities such as an elevated toilet, shower chairs, grab bars, and non-slip flooring.

The most important factor is that you can bathe comfortably, so your choice should be based on your mobility requirements. It will also be determined by the amount of available space and your financial constraints.

Small bathrooms benefit from showers, but larger bathrooms can benefit from a walk-in bath or an open-plan wet space. We’ll assist you in selecting a solution that will allow you to bathe safely while also looking attractive and enjoyable to use.

Yes we can. We understand how difficult it can be to choose a new bathroom, especially when mobility is an issue. It’s a job that requires specialised knowledge and experience, and there are so many items and vendors to choose from that it’s easy to become overwhelmed.

We’ve been selecting the best products for our customers for over 20 years and know exactly what works and what doesn’t.

This can depend on several factors such as the size and style of your existing bathroom, however our new installations take between 4-5 days.

Others are faster than this – a simple job like replacing a bath can always be completed in 2–3 days – while others take a little longer. It is entirely dependent on your requirements. It is entirely dependent on your requirements.

To ensure your peace of mind, we always have a fixed price before beginning work. During installation, we will be respectful of your space and ensure that you have access to the facilities you require.

We are proud to install market-leading open baths from Manteleda, Martek, and Gainsborough, all of which are made in the United Kingdom. Because accessible baths are designed to accommodate accessibility issues, your choice will be determined by the amount of assistance you require while bathing as well as your personal preferences. Walk-in baths are designed for people who can stand and step into their bath without assistance, as the name implies. Supported baths are for people who require bathing assistance from someone else, such as a caregiver. Many assisted baths have a lift to assist the caregiver as well as the person being bathed.

A powered bath is one with an electric feature like automatic filling and emptying, a lift, or jacuzzi bubbles.

Our walk-in baths can be equipped with powered functions if you prefer. There are heated seats, jacuzzi bubbles, and even chromatherapy lights available.

We make every effort to keep the installation process as smooth as possible. At the end of each day, we clean up and reinstall the necessary facilities, starting with carpeting.

Everything is neat and secure when we leave. At the end of the job, we collect all trash and vacuum the area with our own equipment.

We need to turn off the hot water for a short period of time every now and then. If your heating system is old, this is normal and lasts for about 1-2 hours.

The cost is highly dependent on your requirements. We discuss your options with you and come to an agreement on a design and a price; we always set the price before we begin working for your peace of mind.

This means that unless something completely unexpected occurs, we will not charge you more if we take longer.

A smart toilet is similar to a bidet in that it functions in the same way. Anyone can use them, but if you have limited mobility or find it difficult to use a regular toilet, they have extra features to help you.

They’re able to wash and dry, with some even having heated seats. Some models are controlled manually, while others are activated by motion detectors. To make getting on and off easier, the height can be adjusted. People with limited mobility benefit from these features. Here’s where you can get more details.

Yes, we will do all we can to ensure your safety. To prove their identity, any AHM employee who enters your home must wear an ID badge.

Our technical surveyors complete a thorough risk assessment on each job before we depart, and all jobs are checked and signed off with a commitment to ensure that everything is up to code.

All of our AHM fitters and surveyors will do everything possible to keep you and themselves safe when visiting your home. They will do the following when visiting your home:

  • Be temperature checked on the day they visit your home.
  • Wear face masks or a suitable face covering.
  • Keep a 2m safe distance from anyone in the household.
  • Wash their hands and sanitise any surface they touch.
  • Cordon off any area where work will take place to minimise contact between themselves and the customer.

If we receive news that one of our employees needs to self-isolate, rest assured that we will contact you as soon as possible.

We aim to help British manufacturing as much as possible, which is why we use British manufacturers to supply us with high-quality goods.

All of our baths, showers, and shower trays are made in the United Kingdom, and we only use items that have been proven to be practical and safe for our customers. A UK company based in China provides the shower panels we use.

We don’t need you to do anything until we arrive. However, we suggest that you consult with your neighbours before beginning work. It’s likely that our installers will make a noise that will irritate local residents.

If you live in an assisted living home or a block of flats, we’d appreciate being placed in contact with the scheme manager/supervisor so we can deal with them directly and not annoy you about stuff like entry, parking, and garbage disposal.
